  • Face to face 16 hours over 3 days

Course Aims

This course aims to equip qualified Pilates Matwork Instructors or medical movement practitioners, such as Physiotherapists, with the knowledge and skills to become certified Pilates Reformer Instructors.

Prerequisite: This course is suitable for Pilates Matwork qualified instructors, physiotherapists, or medical movement professionals.

Key Objectives

  • Gaining insurance as a Pilates Reformer Instructor and master the teaching of 25+ exercises with their progressions and regressions.

  • Learning the anatomy of the Pilates Reformer and safe usage of its components.

  • Understanding safe tuition pointers for clients in various positions, utilizing the basic Reformer,  Short/Long Box, and Reformer Jumpboard accessory.

  • Developing competence in leading the Reformer Induction Workout and effectively teaching it by the course’s conclusion.

Course Outcomes

Upon completion, participants will:

  • Gain certification as Pilates Reformer Instructors.

  • Have a thorough understanding of the Pilates Reformer apparatus and its application in practice.

  • Possess the ability to teach a diverse range of Reformer exercises with variations and modifications, focusing on muscular conditioning, flexibility, and strength.

  • Effectively teach the Reformer Induction Workout and develop competence in leading and teaching it.
